It starts off with a hutch-style upper compartment that consists of an assortment of drawers and open shelves. There are 6 open compartments in the middle where you can keep your stationery or even put some décor. Both peripheral sides of the hutch have a similarly symmetrical design that consists of a horizontally oriented open shelf to store books, 3 tiny drawers, and a large pullout drawer at the bottom for casual storage. It concludes with a smooth pull-down working surface.
The bottom half of this solid wood home office secretary desk has a double-pedestal-inspired design. There are a total of 8 drawers here – 4 on either pedestal. These can be used to store frequent or seldom-used documents, files, and stationary backups. There’s a large drawer in the center that has an open compartment underneath it for more easy-access daily use paraphernalia.
