The classic trunk is one of the most versatile pieces of furniture ever created. The end of the bed storage trunk can also play the part of a bench or accent table. Just open the top and you’ll have access to lots of storage space; close the top and use it as a coffee table. 

Call it a hope chest, linen trunk, or steamer. There’s lots of names for the humble bedside chest; so it’s no surprise that we carry a myriad of sizes and styles.  We offer wooden trunks that stand off the floor and others that sit on the floor.  Some lids open from the back and others open in the middle.  Look for ornate and simple latches and handles as well as hardware free chests. Look carefully and you’ll discover a few chests with hidden drawers!

Many of our trunks are decorative and are easily seen as usable art. Look for mosaic designs, intricate brass inlay, hand painted designs and pictures, and hand carved elements.  If you’re in the mood for a novelty box, look for our barrel top trunks and rolling chests.

Of course, all of our bedside storage boxes are built with solid wood.  We use only quality hardwoods: Indian Rosewood, Mango Wood, Acacia, Teak, and Reclaimed wood.

Classic designs include Asian, New Delhi, Shaker, Empire, Gothic, and Mission styles.  Rustic chests can be found under Appalachian, Farmhouse, Log Cabin, and Pioneer categories.  Contemporary collections include the popular Industrial and Primitive lines.
