The design of this platform bed is a thing of beauty. It starts with a 45” tall headboard that is embellished with beautiful hand-carved details mirrored in the footboard's design. These elaborately carved panels feature stunning Moroccan details, gorgeous diamond latticework at the bottom of the headboard, and above is an alternating pattern of carved rosettes and fan-shaped palmettes, along with ornamental scrollwork. There are finials on either side of the headboard and the slatted base is perfect for putting your mattress on. The platform base alone provides enough support to the mattress, thus eliminating the need for any additional boxspring. The footboard is short, however, it wholly complements the design of the headboard.
