Let's start with the only downside. When we ordered we thought that the furniture was coming from California only to find out that it would be made in India and need to go through customs, etc. before coming to us. This is not a huge issue, but it would be nice if people understood that it was not being made in the US. Aside from that, the customer service is wonderful, we were contacted whenever we needed to be. Before being made, the sketches were sent to be sure of size, etc. We were informed of transit, the freight company was contacted, the white-glove service to do unpacking and setup were ready when the delivery came. Both the freight delivery person and the setup people were very good and congenial. The table and chairs are beautiful, study, heavy, and will last for years to come. Thank you, Sierra for a wonderful product at a reasonable price and for you kindness throughout the process. It took a while, but was worth it!!!

The furniture arrived 6 days ago and has been sitting in my garage until I could get the time to unpack it. It was very well protected and fairly easy to unpack. The table and chairs are just beautiful! It was definitely worth the wait!! My money was well spent with Sierra Living Concepts and I will be ordering from you again. The only issue I had was trying to get the legs attached to the table. I did not realize that they were numbered until I saw the stamps on the legs and corresponding table corners. You see, I could not read the instructions because they were not legible. I have attached a scanned copy for you to view for yourselves. I did figure it out after attaching the wrong leg to the wrong corner at first, but it would have been easier if I could have read the instructions that described the matching stamps!

I absolutely love my furniture!!! I had been looking for quite some time, and decided to order from Sierra Living, after seeing the style on the website that would be perfect for our home. It was promised by Thanksgiving and it arrived in perfect condition a week before. It is stunning, and so well-crafted, very sturdy, and of a high quality I haven't seen in any of the furniture stores I've looked in. I have a matching desk coming soon. Thank you Sierra Living!!! I also have to say that my representative on the phone when ordering was fabulous, so knowledgeable and informative, while making it an experience almost like she was in my home.

The communication and pictures provided through the manufacturing process was impressive. I reached out to customer support several times and was answered very fast. There were many significant problems with our order and it took far longer than it should have. There was even a final major problem with the delivery to our home. Nonetheless, we were very encouraged by the care and effort that management took to correct all the issues, and after quite a long wait our beautiful furniture finally arrived and in great shape. We love our new furniture! We would like to believe that in a time without a pandemic there would not be this level of trouble in future orders. We will likely give you another chance. Everything was spot on except the delivery process. The company that was hired to ship the items had some issues and stated that it was delivered but in fact it was not. I was able to resolve the issue over the phone but it did result in about a week delay. The furniture is beautiful and very well made. Thank you.

I didn’t realize it would take months to get here

We like the product and would purchase again. From the standpoint of providing feedback for improvement, there were two issues: 1. There is a small blemish on the table top. I think it is a glob of adhesive and will buff out. 2. As shipped, the package required a forklift to unload. The truck's liftgate was useless as the package was too long to fit the gate. Thankfully, we diverted to a friend's business who had a forklift to off-load the package onto my trailer. It was a lot of extra work and stress but it worked out. Also, the package's pallet was in terrible shape, e.g. broke and missing boards.

It's a gorgeous dining set. Correspondence from India as well as Calif. was excellent. I did want it delivered to the house and was assured it would be, but it was drop shipped in my area. Amazing packing on the items, with no damage. It's just cool.

We were a bit apprehensive to purchase furniture on-line but this has been a great experience and the items are wonderful.

My shopping experience was great! The customer service was always very helpful, if I emailed or called they got back to me in a timely manner! Also the furniture we received is very high-quality, it will last a lifetime!

We ordered a dining room table set and bar stools took us 5 months to get our set. We were originally told 8 to 10 weeks then it became months. We ordered in April and just received it here in September 21 2020

The table is beautiful, but it took over 4 months to receive it.

The items took way longer to get than expected but they were well worth the wait. I'm not sure if the added time was due to the Covid19 outbreak or because they substituted a different wood that would more closely match our existing furniture - after sending them pictures of the other furniture in the room. They did an absolutely great job matching the antique oak already in our home. The items were packed so well that even when the truck driver accidentally knocked one crate over it had no damage what-so-ever. We had friends over the day after they arrived and everyone ranted about how great they looked and how solid they were made. If you are thinking about buying from SLC the only thing you will be disappointed with is the time it takes to get these HEIRLOOM pieces of furniture. Good job SLC!

I must admit I was apprehensive about buying a dining room table off the internet from a company that I hadn’t heard of until the morning of my purchase but I have to say the delivered product is beyond my expectations! Beautiful pieces!

We are beyond happy with our gorgeous, solid wood dinning table and 10 chairs. You kept us in the loop the entire time. Thank you for the pictures as our custom set was being built and stained. It was hard waiting for delivery only because we were so excited. The packaging was extremely well done.

The furniture is beautiful. There was some confusion with the deliveries, and it took three times for the whole set to get delivered. The delivery men were very nice, though. When I contacted the company, they were very helpful and worked hard to make things right. Everyone involved has been very nice and the overall experience and outcome is great. I will definitely recommend the company and plan to purchase more furniture, in the future.

Great wooden chairs and table the smell of fresh wood is good. The online customer service is the best with kind hearted people and the white glove people were also good.

This is the second dining set we've purchased from you and the products are absolutely excellent. The only suggestion I have is that you be more upfront on delivery time. Saying 6 weeks and then having it be 4-6 months is a bit of a spread. I was expecting the long delivery time on this second order so it was fine as I know your products are worth the wait but some customers might have a huge issue with that! Shopping was fabulous, quality of most of the product is fabulous as well! Working on rectifying the issues with the table legs.

I utilized the customer portal twice by sending an email. Both times I asked for a response but did not receive one. I asked for a confirmation when we made our choice on stain and also asked for a different edging on the table. I was told on the phone that the edging would have to be approved by Rajul since production had already started. When I did not receive any further information I then sent another email asking if if\t had been approved (NO RESPONSE again). We did not know until we saw the picture of the finished product that they did accept our request for a different edge. That is not acceptable. You should not be so proud of your customer portal!

I loved my dining set. Quality was what I was hoping for. Can't beat the price. Of course The delivery process was a little long, but that was expected and it was worth the wait.

My Philadelphia dining set and reclaimed wood desk are all stunning. I truly appreciated the photos submitted by the artisans as the development process was ongoing. I was able to recognize my individual chairs and dining table by the wood grain patterns noted in the photos. Knowing each piece was created by artisans without the use of machinery is astounding and the fact that each piece is truly unrepeatable was paramount to me. Thank you for making these creations available. Even though the process was long from beginning to end (June 4 to November 7), customer service was always responsive and when the delivery service completed their assignment, they noted that other customers had been waiting for orders from Hong Kong and other destinations (not from SLC) for many months. Once the furniture is completed, future buyers need to realize it is out of SLC's hands once the items are loaded into containers for the shipper. It was reassuring to use the Silverlight app to track the ocean going vessels. Additionally, I love the fact that the pieces are so unique. Keeping us informed of progress, dates, etc. The actual delivery and setup was efficient and very smooth, even though the delivery guys showed up about an hour after the start-time. I guess a last minute text/call with the estimated arrival time would make things even better. The quality of the product appears to be very high, and to our satisfaction. Thank you.

We were highly impressed with the updates on our order. As the company completed tasks they would send you an email with your portal to see what is happening. They send you photos as each item is as they get finished. This is both in the unfinished (unstained) form and in the finished (stained) form. They keep you informed every step of the way which was very cool. These updates made the time fly right by. If there were any issues, they resolved them in a timely manner and made things right. The quality of the furniture is simply amazing. Exceptional craftsmanship. They listen to your needs and try their best to get you what you want. We would definitely use them again and we would highly recommend them to anyone searching for high quality furniture at a price you can afford. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

The product and customer service is top notch. I ordered knowing it would take a while to receive my order so just know it took about 3 months for the entire process. My only issue was with the local freight carrier who just showed up at 7am one morning without warning. Thankfully I was home and had time and was able to clear a space in my garage to put it since it was raining outside. The items were very well packaged for the long journey and arrived in perfect condition.

My only disappointment was the delivery instructions I provided when making this purchase was totally ignored. These four "absolutely beautiful custom made" table chairs were delivered to my daughter's address as a gift. She works and my instructions/comment to Sierra was clear she should be contacted to set a delivery date and time convenient for her schedule. She was called clearly out of the blue as the delivery truck was attempting to locate her address. Outside of this delivery issue my purchasing experience was a good one.
