Back in January I was looking for a large table and dinning room set for our home. I happened to stumble on to an ad for your beautiful dinning table and was overwhelmed with it's beauty. Your customer service was exceptional! I looks for months both online and in stores and could not find a table that satisfied my needs/wants for less than $7k until I somehow found your website. Table and bench arrived in perfect condition and was simple to assemble. Looks as great in person as it did in the pics you sent. Finish is a little shinier than I expected or wanted but I am sure that will wear down with time. It's a good sturdy set that I am sure will last much longer than I will. Thanks!

The furniture itself, was heavy and well made, but, the delivery was a joke as was the waiting period. We were told we would get our furniture earlier than it actually came When it arrived yesterday, out of the blue...my husband had to help the guy in the truck bring it into garage. It was in a huge wooden pallet/crate. He needed to find a crow bar to get it open and then we had to set it up. There is no way anyone would do this if they knew what they had to go through. The pallet was a joke, and the company needs to have more than one guy drop items off when they are so large and they need to take this stuff out of huge crates and pallets not the customer. Sorry, not a good experience and no, we wouldn't do it again.

We were impressed with the packaging /wrapping of the the furniture. Exceptional care was taken to insure the pieces arrived undamaged. What I was disappointed in was the finishing on the table. You could feel where the pieces of wood were joined together (table top especially). Better care when sanding would have made the table worth the money we spent. Likewise on the pedestal of the table there were some rough spots as well as the staining liquid dripped/ran a bit which can be seen. I was very impressed with the construction and the way the table fitted together - pedestal to tabletop. Exceptional quality IMO. Chairs were great and everything was solid wood. Carl Boyd

We were highly impressed with the updates on our order. As the company completed tasks they would send you an email with your portal to see what is happening. They send you photos as each item is as they get finished. This is both in the unfinished (unstained) form and in the finished (stained) form. They keep you informed every step of the way which was very cool. These updates made the time fly right by. If there were any issues, they resolved them in a timely manner and made things right. The quality of the furniture is simply amazing. Exceptional craftsmanship. They listen to your needs and try their best to get you what you want. We would definitely use them again and we would highly recommend them to anyone searching for high quality furniture at a price you can afford. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Very pleased with everything. I acknowledge my order was custom and not easy. Unfortunately delivery, white glove got mixed up and my son and I had to unload and get into the house. Beautiful craftsmanship!

The products - counter height table, 4 chairs, 3 barstools -- are great. Beautiful wood that gets many compliments. But the process simply takes too long - for us, close to six months from order to delivery. And the on again, off again delivery from LA was painful, one shipper who false started several times and delivery finally had to shift to an alternate shipper.

I need a replacement bolt that is damaged, l called three weeks ago and have not received yet. So one leg of table is a bolt short

I love the table! It is sturdy and well made. I appreciate the customer service - you were very responsive to my inquiries and requests for changes. Something on your website made me think this was made in the USA which is what I originally wanted. So when I found out it was shipped from India I was a little disappointed, but it’s possible it was my error and I still appreciate that is was handcrafted by artisans... it took a loooong time to get but I can understand why. Overall I’m very happy with the table.

You chairs are beautiful but the seat is like sitting on a brick. No give to the seat cushion. Hoping after being in a controlled climate they might soften up just a little bit.

Sharing the plans and photographs was very valuable especially as it was a fairly customized order. Keeping abreast of the completion of each phase was exciting. It took a very long time for the shipping and delivery which was frustrating - the delivery personnel were excellent though and did a great job with the set up in the house.

I finally received my product & WOW! I'm sooo happy & it's beautiful!!! I got to totally customize my pieces & then I could go in & check for pics it's was exciting to see what was gonna post next!!! You were more thorough than any company I've ordered from. I love the process and while waiting for a product, the thorough communication built anticipation; not anxiety. Well done.

Every piece of furniture was very well packed and delivered as promised. The craftsmanship is unmatched as well as the quality of the wood. The center leg of our table was not cut the same length as the other four so we were not able to use it.

We were happy with selection and that lots of samples of the wood and stain were sent. That helped us to decide two major components. Unfortunately the chair edges are so severe that we aren't very comfortable sitting in them for long and are getting bruised in some cases. If the brace in front were a little higher we could rest our feet on that and our legs wouldn't dangle as much on the front edge, or if they were rounded instead of a 90° edge. Also we see a fine crack or split in the table on one edge of the top about 4 inches long and there is an obvious split down the entire table top that you can see and feel in the middle of the grain of one plank. My concern over time is will either of those cracks/splits dry out and truly crack the table top? Right now everything looks ok, but I am afraid of it splitting for good. Do you have any Representatives who could check it out so you can know what I am saying? Also, how do we keep it clean and new looking? We know what not to do, but how do we keep the table from drying out? I'm attaching pictures. The two with light bulb shadows are of the dark thin line that runs the length of the table and the last two are the 4 inch crack that is in the table edge and runs 4 inches into the top. It is harder to see but definitely there to the touch. Lastly, just so you know, there is a one half inch or so place in the top that did not get covered in stain so there's a tiny gauge-like spot as well.

Your work is perfection and customer service is excellent, best!!!!! You can purchase items at different times and the colors always match. Love this company.

I am extremely disappointed with my delivery process. I purchased the white glove delivery. There was no white glove delivery. The delivery service provided had an elderly gentleman and a female. The female was unable to assist the male in unloading and carrying the furniture. My husband had to unload and carry all the furniture inside. Once inside my husband had to unpack all the items. The delivery persons had no way of opening the boxes. My husband also had to put the bed together, the delivery persons did not know how to assemble the bed.

Beautiful end product; I appreciate the ability to customize! But please improve your timeframe from order to delivery. Four months was a long time.

This is my third purchase from SLC - I think they are awesome. Their customer portal is very helpful and the manner they ship things all the way from India around the world and it arrives in great condition and the quality and craftsmanship is excellent.

The table is fantastic, the communication was great. Accommodations for a lengthy delay were appreciated. THe container updates were greatand Xpo logistics was fine until delivery day. They brought one person with no way to get the pallet out of the truck and we had to get the neighborhood to do it for them. If it were me, I would not pay them for a portion of the service they provide your company. As for the table, Please pass our appreciation to the people who built the 2 pieces we bought. Their work is fantastic and my wife and I are very happy with what arrived. Your whole team did a great job in trying times. We appreciate it!

My order of two Klagetoh desks got stuck in production because of COVID19. While it delayed receiving the desks to no fault of Sierra Living Concepts, it was well worth the wait. Just beautiful craftmanship. Thank you!

I have just received our amazing custom table and chairs. I can not begin to say enough about the craftsmanship and the high quality materials used. Please! Send my deepest appreciation to the craftsman in India who worked tirelessly as they could around their country’s COVID shut down. The work is detailed and all specifications were exactly followed. The pieces are unique and have become heirlooms for my family’s generations to enjoy! I appreciated real time status updates and photos as the project progressed - this reminded me of how personal the pieces were and my excitement grew every time I was contacted. The shopping experience was pleasant, Cory, was patient with me during the ordering process. Nancy and Adam was also help-full, during the waiting process, which took absolutely too long. I had a problem with the headboard fitting up the steps, but that will be taking care of. To some it up, I will be contacting Cory ASAP for my next project.

I thought everything was perfect except for the one chair from the Dallas set, the seat did not have the last sanding and polyurethane applied. The customer service, and delivery set up personnel were exceptional. The furniture was packed perfect without any damage, especially for being shipped half way around the world. I have already recommended Sierra Living Concepts to two other friends.

Before landing at Sierra Living Concepts I search far and wide for a specific type of table. I was thrilled to find exactly what I wanted at SLC. I placed the order on Oct 3rd 2020. I was surprised to hear I would get the table & chairs before Christmas. Wow - I didn't expect it that fast but awesome. Well, that date came and went without a table. Although you have a great customer portal you really can't tell how much longer it will take to march through the build, pack and ship process. I had to ask. I was told I would receive my order by the end of January. Once again, that deadline came and went without my order. I expressed my frustration and I was given $150.00 off of my order, which I didn't ask for but appreciated. Finally my table and chairs arrived on April 8th, 2021. I had a moment of trepidation because the box had a huge hole in the side, but the furniture inside was fine. Hats off to your packing folks. They did a great job protecting my order. Now that I finally had my long awaited table and chairs what's the verdict? They are beautiful and very well made. I couldn't be happier. They are exactly what I wanted. I've read many reviews describing similar issues, therefore I don't understand why you don't tell everyone it will be 5-6 months. Under promise and over deliver not the other way around. I will and have recommended your company to friends and have been showing pictures of my order to anyone who will look but I tell them if they place an order do not expect delivery sooner than 6 months.

The quality of their products is outstanding. My carpenters here in the USA were so impressed by their Artisans work! They are truly beautiful pieces made of hard wood ( mine are made of mango wood). I have ordered 4 large buffets so far, as well as a special order that arrived exactly as I requested and even more beautiful than I had hoped. There were many significant problems with our order and it took far longer than it should have. There was even a final major problem with the delivery to our home. Nonetheless, we were very encouraged by the care and effort that management took to correct all the issues, and after quite a long wait our beautiful furniture finally arrived and in great shape. We love our new furniture! We would like to believe that in a time without a pandemic there would not be this level of trouble in future orders. We will likely give you another chance. Our friends definitely admire the furniture you made for us. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the experience of shopping online. We used the live chat and phone call with the sales rep to select products. Very good experience. We also enjoyed watching the images of the products as they were built, finished and packaged. There were images loaded into our portal at one point that were two different images of the same product, so we weren’t sure which one was ours, but that was corrected. During the building process, emails that we sent with questions were answered promptly. When we ordered the furniture in November, we were told to expect delivery around the third week of February. In March we inquired about delivery and were told we could expect it early April. The order didn’t arrive until the third week of April. This was not a huge problem, and we know with the COVID-19 crisis, many things have been delayed, but communication in the portal on expected completion date and arrival date, even if it ends up changing would be helpful. I was happy to receive the survey in January or so about preparing for the white glove service. This gave confidence in the delivery process. However, it seemed that selection and booking of a delivery service was not initiated until about a week or so after the products reached the US and had sat in New Jersey waiting for pickup. Then the white glove service selection wasn’t booked until the delivery arrived at its closest destination. This seemed to delay the delivery as the products waited in New Jersey for the delivery to be arranged and waited again in Cadillac Michigan until a company was found and then waited at the white glove company until they could fit in their schedule. That being said, I realize everything is hard right now. The dining table arrived with damage from the shipping process. Flow of communication upon delivery and in the process of resolving the damage was a little confusing ( part of that was my missing an email). You promptly worked with us to arrange a replacement, which is in process. I really like the concept of your business model and we enjoyed the experience. We also love the furniture! I was nervous to by so many pieces with the finish that we chose. I loved the look on your website but didn’t know if it would look too busy in our house. But I love it! Thank you.

The furniture is great but the "white glove service" needs a lot of improvement. i spent a lot of time on the phone with XPO trying to get the delivery done correctly, and then contacted your customer service people. Everyone was very nice and helpful and arranged for a team to come in directly and finish unpacking, and then assembling the dining room table. The team that came were polite but seemed to be in a hurry. They didn't bring a big enough vehicle to take away all the packaging, so I let them leave a lot of it the garage. This ended up being a good thing as when I went to get it all to the street for garbage pickup one of the boxes was heavier than expected. Inside the box was the base part that connects the two table supports together (a piece that's about 4 feet long and weighs a few pounds.) To get the part in place requires partial disassembly of the table, which I'm planning to take care of next time my son is in town. Overall I would have been better off having my son and a couple of buddies take care of things for the price of a pizza and a couple of beers.

We love our new table, it is perfect for our space. And the quality of construction is exceptional. The only downside was the extremely long shipping time (we ordered in January and our furniture finally arrived in July). Otherwise, everything was great and communication from customer service was top notch.

We ordered the solid Saur Wood Wine Bistro Table, and while it took awhile this stunning piece was worth the wait and every penny. We were informed of every stage. Very smart, old world craftsmenship, very solid and heavy. Chairs and bar componantant were idividually packaged, tripple wrapped, even the pallet had furnitire feet. A special shout out to XPOLogistics, I've never seen a pallet that's traveled this far and arrive at our home in perfect condition!

The time between order of the product and delivery was long, but the product is beautiful and worth the wait!

Beautiful workmanship

The table that we purchased completely meets our expectations. It is the size and color we expected and the workmanship is amazing. We could be be more pleased. They mixed up the bases, for the benches, so that they holes did not match to install the screws but once the second bench box was opened and we attempted to put that bench together we figured it out. Thank you ever so much. It is always a gamble, as a consumer to spend the money needed to create such a piece and appreciate that you respected that and made me a beautiful piece of furniture.

The ‘wait’ for our custom made furniture was the only difficult part of the entire process. The portal was of great benefit! When the furniture arrived, we were impressed to see that each piece had been individually bubble wrapped, paper wrapped and securely enclosed in cardboard boxes. Setup took about 30 minutes. The dining furniture is beautiful! We are very pleased.

Everything was great. It's just a long time to wait for a purchase especially when the credit card is charged at the time of the order and not when shipped. I realize for the shipping price to stay low it must be shipped by boat, and that takes a lot of time, so I did not complain. I would order again in the future if it is something that I won't need for about three months. Thank you for the beautiful furniture. You truly did a beautiful job making it.

Because they are made to order, it takes a little time to receive the finished product, but the timing was explained to us on the front end so we knew what to expect. There were no surprises. The delivery went well and we are so pleased with our order.

First, I read some reviews that stated that your company didn't keep in touch during production. In my case, that was ABSOLUTELY not true. Not only did the company keep in touch, but Priyanka Sabnani and Joan (sales department) were constantly available to answer questions or concerns. They replied more quickly than I could even get to my email! In short, both of these individuals need raises! Second, the product is truly beautiful. Since I saw photos as they furniture was produced, my concerns were answered along the way. I will definitely recommend you and I will order again.

Table is absolutely beautiful

This is the most beautiful table and chairs I've ever had. It was handmade to specifications over seas so the delivery took about 2 month as the company predicted on the website. It arrived in superb packaging with no issues. I'll be back!

The table is gorgeous, very close to its online picture but even nicer looking in my kitchen. I love the color of the wood and the rich finish. I am really very happy with my purchase. I absolutely love the table, benches, and chairs! I worked with Joan Dumas while ordering, and she was wonderful...Very responsive to my questions and ideas. I loved seeing the furniture during the various stages via pictures. The online status was a great tool for managing customer expectations regarding shipment and delivery. The delivery company was wonderful, as well. They called to see if the delivery needed to be rushed in time for Thanksgiving. They called to verify the delivery date, called the evening before delivery, and called 1/2 hour prior to arrival, as promised. I appreciated the timely and thorough communication each step of the way. I would highly recommend Sierra Living Concepts.

I'm very pleased with the dining set I received. The set is gorgeous in the sunroom, and everyone that has seen it remarks about the quality and how beautiful it is.

The only thing keeping this from being excellent all the way, was that it did not arrive by 23-25-14 as promised. I began to wonder if I'd lost my money to a non-reputable company. When it arrived, the men had no idea they were to set it up, so it took longer than they planned. They were very professional and set it up very quickly. Everyone who's seen it just loves it. I love my table and 10 chairs and can't wait for the weather to clear up some, so I can go pick out cushions for ten people to sit on.
